BCB Group calls for greater global alignment on stablecoin regulation at Money20/20 Asia

At Money20/20 Asia 2025, regulatory fragmentation in the stablecoin ecosystem emerged as a key topic, with voices across banking and fintech calling for a more unified global approach. “There is still a lack of standardisation from a regulatory perspective, globally,” Tim noted during his panel. “In banking, we see more coordinated policymaking—like the Basel Agreement. We need more of that with crypto.”
