FRAUD AND SCAMS

BCB Group, like other payments providers, has been the target of a number of scams that use the name of the firm, its partners, and staff in fraudulent email scams. These scams take many different forms and are subject to change. The purpose of these scams is typically to seek personal or confidential information from the recipient, request a payment, or seek settlement, or both. Fake documents referring to the firm’s name and/or its staff members may be sent to the recipient in an attempt to entice them to perform as requested.

You should always exercise caution if you receive any unexpected or unusual communication which purports to come from BCB Group, or a member of the firm, and something does not feel quite right. The firm’s domain is “@bcbgroup.io” and we do not use any other variation of this (i.e. Hotmail or Yahoo email addresses).

BCB Group will not contact you or seek payment from you via messaging apps such as WhatsApp. Further, we recommend that you do not click on any links embedded in any emails received from any email address that does not have our domain (@bcbgroup.io).

BCB Group does not provide investment advice and will never ask to temporarily control your computer, smartphone or tablet. BCB Group will never attempt to initiate payments on your behalf from your own personal bank accounts, or to ask you to send cryptocurrencies to addresses not listed on our user console. BCB Group only deals with institutional, corporate and professional customers (not retail), so please beware of imitators.

If you are dealing with someone presenting themselves as a BCB Group associate and they offer investment advice or attempt to control your device or cryptocurrency wallet, please be warned that this is not BCB Group and we cannot be held responsible for their actions. However, we will do everything in our power to control and prevent incidents of this nature.

Please report any suspicious activity to: [email protected]
